Check your computer system speed

If your computer feels slow you might have considered upgrading it, but it's often hard to known which parts to replace. If you have Vista, it can run tests and show you. Click Start
>>> Right-click Computer
>>> Choose Properties.
>>> Click the Windows Experience Index link, and Windows will show a series of scores, one for each part of your PC.
>>> If your PC has not been tested you will be asked to do so. This will take about three minutes.
>>> Look for the parts with the lowest score: if they are far lower than the rest, upgrading these parts should give you a speed boost.
